Carrie Radigan is a producer and production leader based in New York, with a career that’s taken her across nearly every corner of the production process.

She got her start on the operational side of filmmaking, working in post-production facilities and learning firsthand what it actually takes to get a project from set through finishing and delivery. At Light Iron and SIM, previously known as Post Factory and now known as Picture Shop, she worked across feature films, television and documentaries, managing the people, resources, schedules and workflows that keep productions moving behind the scenes.

From there, Carrie moved deeper into post-production and production leadership. At VICE, she worked across documentary and news programming before joining Senior Post, overseeing post on film, television and comedy projects including The Bear and Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel. Those years gave her an understanding of production that goes well beyond any one department, and an appreciation for just how many moving pieces have to come together to make something great.

Alongside her work in post, Carrie has always kept a foot in independent filmmaking. As a producer, her work has screened at festivals including BFI London Film Festival, Fantasia and Frameline. Chasing Chasing Amy received a GLAAD Media Award nomination for Outstanding Documentary and a Grierson Award nomination at BFI London, among other recognitions. Her producing work has ranged from independent narrative films and documentaries to field production on projects like Taurasi.

Today, Carrie is a Project Manager at BBC StoryWorks Americas, where her world has expanded beyond traditional film and television into branded storytelling. She leads productions across film, audio, editorial, digital, social and live experiences, bringing together creative teams, clients, production partners and plenty of moving pieces along the way.

Through all of it, Carrie has remained curious about the same thing: how great work actually gets made. She loves the creative side of production, but she's just as interested in what happens behind the scenes: the people, systems, problem-solving and collaboration that turn an idea into something real.
